IDEATION
I did a quick ideation exercise to come up with ideas on how to address the users needs from the persona. My focus was specifically on how might users save as an induvidual and how to save as a group.
I conducted interviews with working adults and students in Lagos Nigeria as participants, i asked about their saving habit, how they save and how they think thehy can improve the method they use in saving. Most interview participants reported feeling badly about their saving habit.
I did online online research and conducted user survey, from my findings, i got two different user type that will represent the users.

After iterating and drafting some paper wireframes, i created the initial designs for Green App focused on helping users automatically or manually save, daily, weekly or monthly.
The low fidelity prototype connect the primary user flow of saving daily as an induvidual for an iphone 12 Pro Max
I conducted an unmoderated usability study with the low-fidelity prototype to see how users experience the app, then iterate on the designs with findings from the usability studies.
Users shared that the app made them feel like an application for saving is something everyone need. One quote from pair feedback is that the savings app helps users achieve their short and long term goals by making putting aside money stress free and exciting.
